Itinerary 4 day tour:
Day 1: In the morning you will visit the Tian An Men square and the
magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon you will visit the Temple of
Heaven.
Day 2: In the morning you can admire the wonderful Summer Palace. We
then continue to visit the Olympic Bird’s nest and Water cube. After that we
continue to the colorful Lama temple. In the evening we have reserved seats for
you to enjoy a Beijing Opera OR Chinese Acrobatics show. If you chose the opera
show, you can go back stage before the show to see the performers put on their
extensive make up.
Day 3: Today you will visit one of the highlights of
China: the Great Wall at Badaling and the Chang Tombs combined with the Holy
Road.
Day 4: In the morning you will make a Hutong tour by pedicab. This is
a really great way to see the 700 year old traditional Beijing residences. You
can visit one of the houses and take a look at the old courtyards. In the
afternoon you have free time to enjoy this vibrant city or you can book one of our optional tours:
* Chinese cooking class: your chef will meet you and you start by buying your ingredients in a the local market together. Then you will go to the cooking school, located in one of Beijing's hutongs. Then the real work begins: cooking Chinese food with the help and detailed explanation of your chef. After the cooking, you may enjoy your own cuisine creation! Man man chi: enjoy your food! RMB 180 per person, incl transportation between the cooking class and your hotel.
* Tea ceremony: in one of Beijing's finest tea houses, a tea ceremony will be presented to you with so much grace and knowledge, you will surely be impressed. You will learn about different kinds of tea, get to taste them, and learn how to differentiate between them. A very interesting afternoon which will stay in your memory for a long time. RMB 180 per person, incl transportation between the tea house and your hotel.

Day 4: In the morning we drive 3 hours through wonderful nature to Simatei,
one of the places where the wall has not undergone restoration and you can see
the wall as it actually was. After lunch we climb up the eastern section of the
Simatei wall, which consists of 12 watch towers. Be ware the climb will be steep
and will give you good exercise!
Day 5: Today we will walk from the Simatei
section to the Jinshanling section. In general it takes 4-5 hours to walk this
part. This part is not restored, and you will really have to climb, sometimes on
steep slopes. We will pass around 90 watch towers on the way, and the view is
spectacular!!! In the afternoon we drive back to Beijing, and spend one more night in Beijing.

Zong Tang Siheyuan Hotel: centrally located 4 star hotel in the west part of Beijing. This hotel was built towards the end of the Ming dynasty. It was the former residence of the prime minister in Qing dynasty. It's history spans more than 500 years and the old architecture is still visible for you to enjoy. The hotel has 17 comfortable and well furnished rooms that are equipped with modern amenities to make your stay a pleasant one. Price starts at RMB 500 per night for a double room.
Lusongyuan Hotel: 3 star hotel which lies in the center of the ancient city, in an old-styled hutong in the eastern part of Beijing. It is surrounded by historical buildings which were built in the Yuan dynasty, and many of the buildings built in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties are still preserved today.
