Nomad Travel organizes group and individual tours in China and Tibet. The Nomad Travel team is led by Wandhikhar. Wandhikhar is a Tibetan native of Xiahe, a small town located in the Tibetan autonomous region of Gansu province, China. Wandhikhar has 19 years of guiding experience and know the area extremely well. 

 

We are an experienced team which will show you the most beautiful spots around China.

In West China, Nomad Travel has a group of fun Tibetan guides, who are able to tell you stories of real Tibetan daily life. In East China we have knowledgeable guides, specialized in Chinese history and culture. All our guides speak English very well and have been working as guides for several years.

Additionally, the Nirvana Hotel, Restaurant & Bar was started by Wandhikhar.  

In November 2013 the Nirvana Restaurant & Bar was opened. It was an immediate success. In August 2014 the Nirvana Hotel was opened.

 

The Nirvana Restaurant & Bar offers Tibetan, Western and Chinese food. We have a good coffee machine to serve you with freshly brewed coffee all day long. We have a wide variety of beers , wines and liqueurs in our beautiful bar. We offer fresh fruit juices, fruit shakes and we have a good selection of Chinese teas.

 

The Nirvana Hotel has 15 well equipped and cozy guest rooms, all with private bathrooms. Our rooms are extremely clean and our mattresses of the highest quality for your sleeping comfort. We offer free wifi throughout our establishment. In 2019 Wandhikhar opened the immensely popular Nirvana Resort on the Sangke grasslands, just outside Xiahe.
